Wireless Internet is Now Available
Do you own your own a laptop equipped with a wireless network interface card? If you do, you may be able to access the Internet via our wireless system. Virtually any device that has a wireless network card can be used, whether it be a PDA, laptop etc. Simply install the necessary software according to your device installation guide. Enable the DHCP capability in the TCP/IP settings and have the device obtain an IP automatically and your device will recognize our wireless system.
Our library is also making available to our patrons the ability to check out a NIC card for use in our library with your hardware device. The NIC - Network Interface Card- comes with software CD and instructions.
Wireless Printing
How?
Simply go to this web site, www.printspots.com/library-antioch, from any PC with Internet Access and send your print jobs to our coin operated printers. Select the black or color printer, indicate what you want to print, send the job to the processor, click print and within 45 seconds the jobs show up on the print release stations in the library.
Where?
Walk over to one of the 2 coin operated print release stations in the library. Click on your print job, enter the appropriate money and take your prints. Color pricing is now .50 cents each page, black is still .10 cents a page.
