Donate your very nice coffee table books or collections to our monthly Silent Auction. -
Buy Books!
After you clean off those shelves buy some new-to-you books in our Used Book Shop. -

Buy a Chain of Lakes Maps!
Do you need an interesting Holiday present? Buy a Chain of Lakes map. Samples are located in the 1st floor Adult Section. Go to the Circulation Desk to arrange your purchase. -

Take a membership application form from the Used Books Shop and send in your donation. -
Become a Very Active Member!

Clean Out Those Textbooks!
The Antioch Library Friends works with Better World Books to send textbooks to those in need in South America and Africa. Do you really need those textbooks taking up space (we take college level books too!). -

Share the excitement of supporting the Antioch Public Library District through the Antioch Library Friends!
Antioch Library Friends were founded in 1984. This nonprofit organization provides volunteer services and fund raising activities in order to dontae funds for additional library services that cannot be supported through tax dollars alone. Since 1996, Antioch Library Friends have:
- Donated $14,000 cash
- Purchased an illuminated outdoor sign
- Managed the Friends Room, which sells used books donated by library patrons and publishers
- Sponsored Adult and Children’s summer reading programs
- Produced a community cookbook “Treasured Recipes from Antioch and Friends”
- Sponsored local students for “A Day for the Youth Writer” conferences and Artrageous (June 2005 day camp offering creative writing, theatre/drama and more) through College of Lake County
- Purchased computer equipment and shelving
- Purchased a large screen TV for viewing displays behind the Circulation Desk
- Over $30,000 donated to support your Library to date!
